Testimonials

Discover what our partners have to say about us and our services.

Tigray Youth Empowerment Solutions (TYES) is a member of the regional nutrition cluster. TYES actively participates in the cluster meetings with regular attendance. Though relatively a new partner, TYES has been committed to respecting the requirements of its membership. we have regularly received reports and program activity updates from TYES. I recommend TYES for any proposed nutrition project implementation within their capacity.

Nyauma Nyasani

WFP, Nutrition Cluster Coordinator

Since the start of the war, which resulted in a current crisis in Tigray, Tigray Youth Empowerment Solutions (TYES) has been responding to the nutritional needs of children,  PLW, and NFIs through community-based projects in Mekelle and Shire IDP sites. As an office mandated to manage any emergency in the region, our regional office, the Directorate of Early Warning and Emergency Response, has been supervising and working with TYES to successfully implement a "Nutritional Emergency Need Project" Thus, our office is an eyewitness and evaluated the successful implementation of the nutrition program carried out by TYES from December 2020 to December 2021 in Mekelle and Shire IDP sites. Thus, in your efforts of Nutritional needs emergency response in the region, we strongly recommend strengthening, supporting, and considering TYES the national NGO with a strongly established social base and good knowledge of the local community, as your implementing partner in the future endeavors especially in these times of humanitarian urgency.

Mr. Lijialem Kahsay Berhe

The Government of the National Stat of Tigray Bureau of Agriculture & Rural Development Directorate Early Warning and Emergency Response

The Regional Health Bureau (RHB) would like to take this opportunity to commend the broad-based efforts that UNWFP has been making in the provision of all-round support to the people of Tigray. As it is well known by your esteemed office, Tigray Youth Empowerment Solutions (TYES), a member of the regional nutrition cluster is implementing BSFP and TSFP programs in three woredas of Tigray namely R/Chercher, R/Azebo, and Mokoni Town. TYES is successfully implementing the project by overcoming a lot of challenges on the ground. Moreover, based on the evaluation we have on the ground the quality of implementation, its collaboration with authorities at various levels, and its efforts of strengthening the health system is highly recognized and evidenced by RHB. Thus, in your future efforts of partnership on Nutritional food emergency response, we strongly recommend Tigray Youth Empowerment Solutions (TYES) a civil society with an established social base and good knowledge of the local community.
